MyEvent.mt Terms of Service

Applicability

These Terms of Service apply to all users of MyEvent.mt, whether viewing events, booking events or creating events of others to book. This version of the Terms of Service supersedes any previous versions published.

Illegal Activity

Events created on MyEvent.my may not be events that are in contravention of the Laws of Malta. Any event that is set up for an illegal purpose will be removed and the event creator banned from using the site. The site operators will report anything they deem suspicious to the authorities providing whatever evidence is required. If you feel that our policy on illegal activity is too strict, please do not use our site.

Service

MyEvent.mt is a platform where event organisers can advertise their events and collect bookings and sell tickets. We are not connected with the events themselves.

Legitimate Events

Whilst MyEvent.mt takes every care to ensure that the event creators on the site are legitimate, we do not take responsibility for the events. We have no control over the veracity or quality of events that are advertised on the site. We do not control what happens with funds once you have purchased a ticket or booked for an event.

Refund and Cancellation Policies

When you book, payment goes directly to the event creator – so you need to contact them for refunds, changes, cancellations or if you have any questions or complaints. Please check about refund policies with the event organiser before you pay for anything. Once payment is made, we have no control over refunds.

Marketing

By accepting these terms of service, you give us permission to add you to our mailing list to keep you updated on the system and any offers we may have at myevent.mt. We will never sell your contact information to third parties, and all our communications allow you to unsubscribe if you prefer not to receive them any longer.

Updates

These Terms of Service are subject to change. Changes will be communicated to all registered users, giving a 14-day notice before they come into effect.
